This queens birthday, Bhib and I escaped to the blue, or should I say – White mountains =). Knowing that it was going to rain, we were a little concerned. But it turned out to be an amazingly, heavenly, relaxing trip.
First Stop – Valley of the Waters.
This place is pure awesomeness. Absolutely spectacular. Really, you never know what you might find in the blue mountains.
Then we visited Jenolan caves. It’s a real fact that this is the prettiest cave in the world, well thats what the guy told us. I’ll take his word for it, it was mind blowing O_O
Oh did I mention it was cold?
We chose the Jubilee cave as it is known to be the prettiest of them all (also the most strenuous!). It’s hard to describe the “prettyness” by the pictures because it looks like you’re in a giant monsters stomache with saliver’s dripping down everywhere. But that is all false, it is nothing like your imagination. Simply spectacular. They are actually limestone crystals hanging off. You just have to be there to experience its beauty.
The Hall of Alabasta – this is the highlight of the cave. It’s located in the deepest part. Simply jaw dropping. It was also the tour guides favourite place.
Then we went to Govetts Leap which I have to say was one of the most magical places I’ve seen. I have never seen anything like this, so I have to say Bhib and I were pretty lucky to have ended up in a place that really doesn’t look like any place on earth (no sarcasm).
Overall a super ultra kamehameha of a trip. Really discovered some amazing places which really isn’t that far from where we live. Will surely to come back to discover more of these some time =). Also a big pat on the back to Bhib who made it through with me. I’m really proud of you!
hahaam you and your strange poses :p!
