Chibi and I went on a day trip on saturday this easter long weekend down to Kangaroo Valley followed by a relaxing evening down at 7 Mile beach. The NSW south coast is easily one of the best looking places around with loads of adventures awaiting. I picked Carrington Falls this time and was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of this hidden gem. Clearly not many people know about this place as it was nowhere near packed during this long weekend period which is always a good thing. There wasn’t a whole lot of walking involved but the place does offer some gorgeous areas to spend some time and take some great pictures =D
Chibi at the top of the falls standing on a piece of rocky surface because she complained that the water was minus 40 degrees or something.
The extremely calm river just before the 50 meter drop
Then we headed to Nellies Glen for a nice lunch surrounded by nature. This was our awesome view, right next to a small waterfall.
No trip is complete without the super extreme pose!
After lunch we headed down to 7 mile beach. Endless beach with nobody on it on a long weekend, that’s Australia for you =P. Another HDR shot.
I found this giant log on the beach…not sure why it was there but I took advantage of it! This is the famous Dai Zengar pose when he whips his gigantic sword to full power…ahh such a fitting pose >D. This log was at least 20-30kg and that expression is the real pain of holding it up! Chibi wouldn’t believe me though…
And finally, something to remember forever.
Some great photos :D! I love the HDR shot of the beach 😀
And yes..it really looks like you’re faking the heaviness carrying the log, heeheheh ^^
Fun day!
Thanks =D And don’t forget you took some of these photos so good stuff!
The log was pretty damn heavy! it was taller than me lol
