Sylvia & Bens Wedding

Yesterday i attended Syliva (my cousin) and Ben’s wedding ceremony and reception. First thing that i must say is “omg the weather was soo hot!!”. As Chibi and i were driving towards the city in my car, the thermometer readings had hit a maximum 41 degrees!! now thats hot =P. 

As we arrived to the Chinese botanical gardens, the ceremony had almost started, everyone was settling in and finding a good spot. So the Ceremony began, The brides maid, the bride and the guys started walking out. It felt a little strange as they just silently walked out with no music in the background, chibi and i though it was a bit strange, but anyway, all turned out well. Poor ben for wearing 3 layers including a suit under that head O_O… 

After the ceremony we had some snacks and drinks before heading back to Chibi’s place to get ready again for the reception. At this point i was very looking forward to see Chibi wearing her new dress. As she was getting changed i was playing some cooking mama (dont ask why). and finally she came out, and i was surprised too see something very glamourous, (actually i shouldnt be surprised hehe) you look great!. I like my grey shirt too =P. 

Reception:

The location for this reception was at iMAX theater – star room and i was not dissappointed. This place was absolutely fantastic, very wll decorated, good services, good food and a breathetaking darling harbour view. I found it a bit strange that there was only 1 speech throughout the whole night and that was Ben’s speech, but shouldnt there be a best man’s speech as well? i’d like to hear all the bad-ass stuff about ben lol, too bad there wasnt. Also the waitress poured champaigne for everyone but it was never used, did they forget to toast? hmmm. 

Then there’s the guest book. When we got there, after putting our stuff down, Chibi and i went to sign the guest book. I wrote “Sylvia congrats!” with some little decorations, and Chibi wrote her a message with a cute little drawing of the bride in some flowerfield, all looks really good. Then after a while, my brother and Sandra went to sign it and they saw our pagem, thank goodness they did!!…can you guess why? because we totally forgot about ben!! lol a wedding is a 2 person thing, not just the person u know.  so then we quickly rushed back and i added “Ben! congrats” and chibi added a drawing of ben in it…hehe all good, all good =P. 

Overall, it was a very fun day. I Wish Sylvia and ben, who are a perfect couple all the best in the future =)
